Last few days I've been couch-ridden with a nasty cold. No fun. Some consultantcy is saying that one of the places I interviewed with is looking to get an offer together, but it's stuck in bureaucracy. I'm not holding my breath.

Oh, and it's an embaressment that 2/3 of American senators... the people who should be the embodyment of American ideals Vote against Freedom of Speech.

In less inflamatory news, I've largely decided upon the project I'd like to do after MoE. Feel free to steal this not highly original idea, I'd love to play it... A Fantasy re-make of X-Com. Adventurers instead of troopers, demons instead of aliens. X-Com doesn't really need more tweaking, but I've always disliked the anonymity and similarity of the troopers. Adding more customization there should be cool. That's a long time off though.

First though I need a job to get a new dev machine to finish up MoE which is going to be not a little work itself.

Perhaps this might be better served in the Lounge, but I fail to see how voting against banning someone from burning the flag acts as a vote against free speech. Surely the right to burn IS the right to speech.

Indeed. 2/3 of senators voted for the ban.
