Quantifying Story Events
As games become more dynamic, inevitably people will want dynamic personalized stories. The Way of the Samurai was a bit of that I guess.
But the question is, can you quantify story events so that you could essentially piece together stories from separate elements? A way to categorize a bunch of possible story events so that an algorithm could create a well-paced, non-conflicting story. Instead of branching storylines, you pick from a pile of events and piece together completely unique stories.
