Strat doc: help for 3D section

Okay, I''m busy typing the strat doc and need input on 3D camera systems. I have a short thread (4-5 posts) on scale, but nothing on the camera interface. So...let''s talk it up! For my own input, I like the interface in Sacrifice; however, if the player doesn''t have a wheeled mouse, they are going to have a problem, as it relies somewhat on the dual function of the mousewheel as mouse3 for zooming and spinning. Mousewheel zooms in and out, and holding mouse3 allows you to look in any direction without moving. Moving the mouse to the top and bottom of the screen zooms in and out; moving it to the left or right turns view. That''s a nice compensation, but it still may interrupt the flow of the game if you''re waiting for the camera to turn.
