The Hero6 Project, a fan based project formed over a year ago to develop a game similar to Sierra''s QFG series (on Windows, Dos, Linux, FreeBSD, maybe others), is in need of help. Hero6 has developed into a sort of community over time, but now we need skilled people volunteer their time to aid in the development of Hero6. They are looking for: Scripters and Scene Creators for the MAD engine. No experience with the engine is necessary. C/C++ or other programming language experience is desirable for the scripting position. Scene Creators must have access to and some familiarity with a graphics program that supports layers and greyscale bitmap mode (Paint Shop Pro, The Gimp, Photoshop), but it does not require artistic talent. Send scripting/scene creator inquiries to daemious. Background Artists this position requires individuals talented at drawing and/or coloring landscape scenes or town scenes. Scanned in artwork is ok. The scenes will be 320x240x24 in size. Artists must supply examples before being accepted for quality assurance reasons. Send art inquiries and samples (zip compressed bitmap preferred or supply url''s to them) to SE Sprite Animators requires individuals talented at drawing and animating characters (sometimes concept art is available) at a low level. Most sprites are around 64x64 pixels, but may exceed. Send examples in gif format, separate bmps or on a website. Send art inquiries and samples to SE You can actually sign up for these spots at our website www.hero6.com We would love to have you join us ~Brynwall
