Does anyone know how much disc space you have to have to run linux?

Anywhere from 100 megs to 1.5 Gigs, depending on how much you want to install. An ''average'' install is probably about 500 or 600 Megs, so you''ll want at least 1 Gig of space in total.

That would depend on which distribution you run. Most average around 300Mb.
