I scraped users reviews on metacritic, but how could we make use of these data? An invitation for networking and collaborating

Hello everyone,

Let me introduce my self briefly. I am a CS undergrad, and a hobbyist of video games and artificial emotional intelligence. I like to study emotion-driven AI in video games and arts/design.

I scraped, i.e gathered data, of users reviews in metacritic into a database of mine. That same technique could be easily applied to other websites and other data types like images. Here: (https://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/red-dead-redemption-2/user-reviews) is metacritic's page, and here: (https://send.firefox.com/download/08f182ace23a33e5/#3JjfAfYRGqB4I0RS5UW_aA) is the database.

I am writing this post mainly to network and collaborate with others. I welcome others feedback, new ideas, and even their own projects/problems so that we see how could we combine our experiences to the benefit of our community.

Sincerely,

I am sorry, I submitted wrong tags for the post. does anyone know how to modify it, or even delete the post?

The 3 dots at the top right of a post allow you to edit it, if you have the permissions.

Be aware that copying other people's written work from the internet is likely to be copyright infringement, and that scraping them en-masse from a site may well be against the site's terms of service. Really you should be getting consent from people for this data.

@Kylotan Unfortunately, I could edit on the post's body but not the title or its tags. thank you anyway
