Been reading lots of interesting ideas for handling shadow maps in a game engine, because this engine has only one coder at this time I'm keeping to the rule K.I.S.S. and may explore some more advanced systems at a later date. If anyone has a good reference or idea on this subject, I'd love the hear about it.
I want to add LOD back in soon, but thought it might be nice to have an editor that supports extra features, I'm starting to get bogged down with blender python code for exporting special objects that aren't supported in blender etc.. Time to move on.
